Mandatory Packaing
To protect your equipment as well as other luggage transported in the baggage compartment, all bicycles must be properly packaged prior to departure.

Accepted packaging includes:

• Cardboard bicycle box
• Bicycle transport bag
• Hard-shell bicycle case

Any bicycle that is not properly packaged will be refused for transport.

Orléans Express does not provide tools, nor does it offer bicycle disassembly, reassembly, or packaging services.

Bicycle boxes are available for purchase at a cost of $15.00 (plus applicable taxes) at most of our terminals, sales outlets, and Expedibus counters.

Please note that Orléans Express does not provide bicycle packing services. Customers are responsible for packaging their bicycles before departure.

Best Practices

To ensure a smooth travel experience with your bicycle, we recommend following these best practices:

Please ensure that the transportation fee has been paid

Prepare and package your bicycle before arriving at the terminal.

Clearly label your bicycle box or transport bag with your name, phone number, and destination.

Plan to arrive at least one hour before departure if you need to purchase a bicycle box and package your bicycle.

Retrieve your bicycle upon arrival when you disembark from the coach.

Sit back and relax in one of our coaches and let us handle the rest.

Correspondence

During transfers on our network or in interconnection with another carrier, the bike will go through the courier service and the driver will take care of the transfer.

A bicycle sent as a parcel is subject to the same prices and conditions as any other parcel.

Street stops

If you wish to travel with your bicycle from a location where boarding takes place on the street and you do not have the necessary equipment to package your bicycle, the driver cannot guarantee the availability of a bicycle box. Box availability is limited and cannot be confirmed in advance. Packaging remains entirely the responsibility of the customer.

Bicycle boxes may be purchased at certain stations and Expedibus counters.

Customers may also use their own compliant packaging (box, bag, or rigid case). It is strongly recommended to bring your own box or transport bag whenever possible.

Transport fees may be paid at the next stop if time allows, or at the transfer point.
